T560 diamond stylus, constant problem

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

T560 diamond stylus, constant problem

I've got constant problem with stylus that "fails" only on the right channel.
Over the years of cutting, only right channel starts to hiss after some time. I've tried (many times) repositioning it, changing (delicate) angle of the cut - L/R - but it's still the same. I'm loosing quality on right channel only, never lost left one. I'm after 20+ styluses. What I'm missing here?

Have you checked if the fuse is connected properly without friction?
Checked all the wires? Din connections can be wobbly sometimes.

This is not the fuse. Maybe I wrote it not super clear:
I mean, new stylus - works great, but when its getting old - after XXX hours - right channel goes bad (hiss). It would be OK if sometimes left would go bad, or both, or any random thing. But it's always right one...

Have you checked that the stylus is cutting directly to the centre of the blank? Sounds like pressure is being put on one side of the stylus, so likely something to do with the angle of heads travel (assuming stylus is cutting in the center of the groove and wights are right).

I have tried different stylus L/R angles (a little changes), different weights, different L/R cutting head positioning but the same thing again and again

I mean the overhead angle, making sure the head travels directly to the centre of the record

After how many hours does this happen
