RCA 73-b audio connections

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

RCA 73-b audio connections

Does anyone here know which terminals to connect the audio to on this lathe?
Page 2 of the manual seems to be incorrect.
It says to make all audio connections to the TB-2 terminal.
TB-2 is actually the power terminal.
The audio seems like it should connect to TB-1.

The head is an MI-11850-C
I think I can just connect audio to the 2 brown wires on the head and it should be fine, but I would rather go to the terminal.
