Rek-0-kut Challenger TR-12H fuse amp

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Rek-0-kut Challenger TR-12H fuse amp

Hey guys,
One of the members here suggested I use a standard-for-the-time 3AG size fuse about an inch and a quarter long, a quarter-inch nominal diameter. However didn't mention the amp needed. I have an 8A device, so could someone help me. I was at an electronics store and the man said the new ones like the 3AG are AGC MDL. In reference to my Rek-0-Kut Challenger TR-12H.
Thanks,
Jerry
