vinyl dye

Once you have cut a master laquer, you have metal stampers created and have records pressed from them. Discuss manufacturing here. (Record Matrix Electroforming- Plating, Vinyl Record Pressing.)

Hey Trolls, does anybody know what is used for coloring the vinyl-material?
For example you have transparent vinyl and want to have it like transparent yellow or green or something else.
like the non opaque sort of vinyl granules.
what can be used in this situation so you can mix your own color out of transparent material?

Ink based dye for translucent for solid colours all kinds of super fine ground down oxides including talk as well as titanium carbon black of course for the black ones
Go buy some master-batch colours or ask any plant for them and go ahead far easier than mucking around with other things

Thanks for your reply. Maybe i will try some masterbatch and grind it down to smaller size. Almost like powder

If you want to do that make sure you put the granules in the fridge or make sure they are really really cold as the grinding down process will heat them up and you finish with a great big lump of crap
