A 12" Master Lacquer is what I would cut for a 10" pressed release. So, as long as your mechanics can handle a 12" lacquer you are ready to go! Just make sure you don't start your lead-in groove until after the 10" mark...

If you are making a "direct stamper" (one-step processing) they can do it if they want to. If you are doing three-step processing (master/mother/stamper) then this might be difficult for them.
The reason for this difficulty is that the lacquer disc has a rubber ring placed around the edge and they don't have a 12" ring. If you are making a direct stamper you don't need the ring. If the direct stamper is damaged, you will need to cut a new lacquer to make a replacement stamper.
Why dont you contact our members who make stampers:
Phil at Phonopress, Milan
Mossy at Only Vinyl, London
Ted at Galvimat, Holland
Good luck with you project. We want to see photos of the cutting lathe, and the finished product.
