Liquid Filled 12"
Hi everyone
I have a question about the pressing of the Third Man Record's release of Jack White's "Sixteen Saltines" released on a liquid filled "disc"
First off I am guessing that its 2 sides are pressed separately, then a type of liquid is added right before "gluing" the 2 halves together. I really have no clue. If someone could enlighten me on the process and materials used it would be much appreciated.
and here is a video of that same record leaking shortly after it was purchased

Unless you have it in your hands, you cannot tell how it was made but I woud think your guess is right on the mark! It looks awfully thick : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RETuB67sTKI&feature=related
