Whatever became of Acme Vinyl's equipment?

Once you have cut a master laquer, you have metal stampers created and have records pressed from them. Discuss manufacturing here. (Record Matrix Electroforming- Plating, Vinyl Record Pressing.)

Something I'm curious about: Acme Vinyl out of Toronto, ON, Canada, shut its doors in 2006 or early 2007 - what happened to their equipment? Lathe, galvanics (maybe), presses... I'm assuming they were sold, but to whom, and where? Does anyone know?

Lathe and galvanics - none. I believe the two SMT presses went to a US pressing plant.

I was briefly involved with Acme in 03-04. We had 3 SMT presses at that time. I have heard they ended up at Brooklyn Phono.
