selfbuild delta press

Once you have cut a master laquer, you have metal stampers created and have records pressed from them. Discuss manufacturing here. (Record Matrix Electroforming- Plating, Vinyl Record Pressing.)

hi guys,

i've build my own delta press (in scale 1/24.) :D
i designed a paper model assembly kit to build your own litte pressing plant.
the card of the paper model is included with orders in few pressing plants in germany.
by a total of 6 issues you will have your own little scale-model pressing plant.

i just wanted to share this with you guys. hope you like it ..

i'm the artdirector of a small underground magazin called vinyl leaks, this paper model kit is a small 6 issue series of the magazin.
the magazin vinyl leaks focus on the passion behind the production of records, by keeping an eye on education, oddity, fun and curiousity.

for more information and pictures, check out: vinylleaks.alexrex.de

issue #1 delta press and extruder unit
(more is coming soon)

We're reaching levels of dorkiness that are theoretically impossible. Took the day off work to put mine together. The wife says she wishes it was like a "Polly pocket" but she also calls my lathe "the long shank". I was like, yes I have 2 long shank styli. One ruby and one sapphire, so, what are you talking about? She said yeah! The LONG SHANK. THE ONE YOU USE TO CUT RECORDS. THE BIG MACHINE WITH THE LAMP. THE FWCKING LONG SHANK. and so forth. I'm still giving her the -20db treatment to this very day
