Weight of stamper

Once you have cut a master laquer, you have metal stampers created and have records pressed from them. Discuss manufacturing here. (Record Matrix Electroforming- Plating, Vinyl Record Pressing.)

Hey guys just a quick question. What is the typical weight of a 7" (10" to be accurate) stamper when it comes off the laquer?
Cheers

EMI Greece 12" stamper specification...

184.2 ~ 198.4 grams

A lighter stamper will give you a faster cycle time but if the nickel is stressed and not ductile it will fail sooner than a heavier stamper will fail. Failiure = the outside edge of the stamper cracks along the gate of the mould.

Cheers man. So does this translate to 152gm - 164gm for a 10" laquer?

I haven't calculated it but it seems you have. That would be a good starting point and might be right on the mark.
