Where Were These Pressed?

Title says it all. One has hair pressed into it and the other has yarn pressed into it.

The first one is from Gotta Groove Records as far as I know...
The second one looks like Liar's "Mess On A Mission" it was also pressed in US

I’m pretty sure Gotta Groove did both. Pirates Press was doing some of that for a while, but stopped.

I believe the yarn one is done by placing warmed pellets on the stamper itself and then layering the yarn, and then another layer of clear pellets. All pellets have to be warmed tho!!

It's interesting to see how the orientation of some of the yarn threads indicate a flow of vinyl towards the center of the disc.

The organization in Gotta Groove that does specialty records is called Wax Mage and is run by our friend Heath.

He has been doing crazy art records for almost 10 years now.
