Viryl warmtone steamless real world power consumption

Once you have cut a master laquer, you have metal stampers created and have records pressed from them. Discuss manufacturing here. (Record Matrix Electroforming- Plating, Vinyl Record Pressing.)

Any trolls have data on the power requirements for a warmtone with the steamless option?

Why not just ask Viryl? It would have to be well over 100kW to get any kind of useful output. The cycle times I have seen on these systems are incredibly slow, I think you would be better off with a standalone electric steam boiler.

I have reached out to Viryl several times but did not get a response. Are they still in operation?

Yes, around 100 kW for steamless heating in addition to the usual extruder, trimmer and hydraulics power requirements.

I did consider an electric steam generator but the power requirements to serve two automatic presses requires a very fat cable to the building which is not available everywhere.

I’m sure Viryl is still in operation and very busy delivering presses to customers. Not sure why no response though, how did you contact them?

At the Viryl “learn more - contact us” page on their website. I am a disk cutting studio and I am trying to find a solution for my clients who need small order runs of 200-500 7” and 12” records.
So, I was looking into the Viryl Litetone record press. The plating for the lacquers is not an issue, since I am only a 20-minute drive to the plating facility.

I think Litetone and steamless were designed exactly for your scenario. I would visit a pressing plant using those first if I were you.
