7" pressing on a newbilt semi-automatic
Hi everyone!
Have any of you ever pressed with black pvc, 7" records on a newbilt semi-automatic press?
If yes, does anyone want to share the settings (temperature times) of the press?
Right now ours are these: And in the extruder are these: Any thoughts?

Cycle time on Toolex semi-automatic presses is 15 seconds total. So, 4 x 7” discs per minute.
Your cycle time seems remarkably long. Do you have the correct figures posted here?

yes this is the best combination settings for us right now... I think this is too much too, but it works for us right now.

I'm not familiar with the newbilt software but we run 7" on a rebuilt Finebilt which is basically the same thing mechanically.
What are your cooling water and steam temperatures?
The Newbilt interface is not so clear, is the "heating" part a dwell time (no water or steam) or is steam still being run through the moulds?
8.5s is a very long dwell time either way, don't you have issues with warping?
