HAECO & Westrex Cutting Stylus.

Hello Trolls,

Just curious if anyone using the Micro - Point WSH-2S cutting stylus in their HAECO SC2 or Westrex 3D2 cutter head is having an issue. It seems that the aluminum shaft with the stylus mounted in it is too long when placing it into the torque tube. This is the WHS-2S-AL cutting stylus. With the stylus is placed in the cutter head, and then you drop the head on to the lacquer and the stylus is on the disk, it seems that you can't get the advance ball to touch the lacquer surface. Perhaps the cutting stylus from Micro Point is out of spec? I never had any problems when using the Transco stylus in the past. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Maistrow

Yes, the Micro Point stylus is a few millimeters longer then the Transco 350 stylus that I was using.
