PBR Expands Lacquer Disc Production
Public Records Co., Ltd., the world's only commercial manufacturer of blank lacquer discs has announced plans to build a new prodction line at a second location in Japan this year.
The good news is that this facility will also produce reference discs in the usual sizes including 7".
The idea of setting it up at a second location is for the ongoing supply in case something happens at the existing facility. The slightly bad news is that a small price increase of USD 1.75 - $2.32 is coming in April due to increased costs that can no longer be absorbed.

Cool! Any information about pricing for the reference discs? Will they be like the Apollo dubs, lacquer rejects so to speak?
