Image

Some time ago now I was asked to provide an image of the High Precision Bearing that I produce for the Technics SL1200 TT. Which can be addapted as a cutting lathe.
My Interest in this area has been re-kindled by having been asked to work on a SL1200 for this purpose. So I thought that others may be interested.
I do remember working with a fellow in Melb on the use of a SL1200 for cutting but I sort of lost contact with him.

It seems that I am still having problems with the image.
I am using an image from Imageshack which I use on the AoS forum.
Now I've got it to work!!!

cool!

So- are you saying the SL1200 has enough torque and with your bearing, enough stability to work as a lathe??
