Hi, Im Restoring a AM32 lathe that have been off use for about 15 years. Its very dirty and have some oxide. I think that the best option is to disassembly all parts, clean, nikel or chrome parts, lubricate, etc. I would like to disassemly the motors change bushings if necesary and reassembly, but Im not sure how to lubricate them, which oil to use.
someone has any info?
thanks!!!

Len Horowitz has always recommended mineral oil and not something like 3 in 1 or other actual "oil" products. It doesn't break down and get sticky like less refined petroleum products do.
