Blank / uncut vinyl?

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Blank / uncut vinyl?

Hello, I'm an artist based in London, wanting to conduct some (probably doomed) experiments into handcutting records... Does anyone know somewhere in the UK or Europe where I can get my hands on small quantities of uncut vinyl? preferably 12". I saw someone on another thread trying to drum up buyers for boxloads of blanks, but I really only need a handful at this stage in the project. I realise that it's probably easier to get blank acetates or dubplates, but vinyl would be nicer for this I think.

Thanks in advance, any advice greatly appreciated!

I only handle polycarbonate blanks but Fraggle or Dietrich can help with the actual PVC records.

You might try combing the used dance 12" bins and look for one sided pressed records to practice on
all the best!

How Many do you need preordered to make it worth running? Like I said in the other thread, I'll take 150x7"s, and I know there are others who want them. Why don't you just focus on 7"s until everyone can test them out an then run lps if they work well for everyone.
