has anyone tried to cut with ceramic?

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Just looked it up and there is some ceramic harder than sapphire out there.

As I understand the ceramic has a big crystal structure. So you will not be able to get sharp edges. Maybe there is some types of ceramic that can be very fine. But I haven't saw that....
