So I've been lurking around here a bit and have been testing out a few things.
Below is a pic of the 2nd head I built.... I designed it around a regular cartridge so I can add it to any turntable. (Also, my guide design is such that it connects directly to the cutter head and is independent of the turntable, more to come on that)

I haven't built the guide mechanism yet, I just gently pushed the head across... I think this turned out really well for what this is (LOL).
In an attempt to get more high end on the next emboss I did, I blew up this head. My third is ready (and better I think) but I'm going to build a guide first...
Anyway just wanted to say thinks to all who provide all this great information!!

That disc is exactly how my first experiments in embossing turned out - minus the listenable audio, of course.
