i have been experimenting with some aluminum foil duct tape, 3 mil thick and 6 bucks a roll, available at the local hardware store. 150 foot roll equals over 100 tinfoil recordings. this makes loud bright crisp recordings with excellent articulation. this is perfect for doing public demonstrations of the Edison tinfoil phonograph.
