I'm excited, it's certainly speakers are Boschmann, the coil has a diameter of 25mm, the rear of the speaker is threaded metal to screw the speaker, it was tweeters complete with bass, I think it is cheap, tomorrow let's get to work. I do not know how to fix the mounting knife, whether it is soldered tin?

Hi Marc Thanks for the photos!
i´d like to see how the armature is hooked to the cutterhead, seems that there isn´t V spring at the end ¿?
Is incredible how that simple design can archive this amazing results!
Good luck with the repair work!!!!, please keep posting!

The cutting stylus is held in via two methods. A locking set screw for a Presto Long Shank stylus. Or, a friction locking taper for a 320 stylus.

And here such a beautiful surprise, suffice car tweeters $ 4 set, a little glue, paper, wire and tin [unless if you are not I am wrong ..] and it's really beautiful record. I can not repair this tweeter, so i order two new car tweeters and then i'm gonna try to fix the cutterhead myself!
A few days ago i open the cutterhead from the Vinylrecorder, and after that i made 30 pictures.
This link from Wetransfer, is working until 30 december 2015, and please let me know what you think of the tweeters![]()
And thanx Dimi for your tip, and i give it a go!

Re: Who can help me with my VR T560 cutterhead?
Hi again Marc, some questions:
This part is fixed or can blend ? how is connected?
Seem the armature is connected to the head in two points
So is a design without "V Spring"
Snug Music i think the cones are hollow inside

How thick are the wires that come out of the cones and connect to the stylus holder? Can you tell what type of material it is?

Hey Aaron, ..
when I look at the picture with the Stylus Holder, I think that the wire (brass wire) !! (since this is non-magnetic and solderable)) a diameter of 1 mm has !!! hihii ... smile ... ok .. Aaron, what are you thinking right now? Did you also desire to recreate the part ?? I yes, smile ... .. ok .. so lets do it. I have the driver (BOSCHMANN - MM 6 Tweeter) already ordered!

greetings Scotty

I use it. Good flexibility and stiffness. Stainless steel is better than brass for this case

How do you think to recreate the rubber part in the top of the tweetter and the armature for the stylus?

Ok .. I'm sending you the pictures of the rebuild process ... the rubber cone, I will basically manufacture of fiberglass and that if everything is installed, pull over with siliconeinspector77 wrote:Scooty take pictures of the whole process!![]()

Re: Who can help me with my VR T560 cutterhead?
Hello everybody, i wish you all a very happy new year and thanks for all the messages about the cutterhead! A good friend of mine (also Dutch) is busy with my cutterhead, and i think it is ready in 5 or 6 days
I saw a few questions here, but i don't have all the answers and i'm sorry for that. I'm a newbie with cutterheads, but i'm learning a lot from my good friend in The Netherlands. The cones are not filled, but hollow. If the cone is on the tweeter, you must fill it up with a little bit liquid silicone rubber. When i cut open the tweeter (carefully), i saw that rubber ring and that's the liquid silicone rubber. But one thing is very inportant: Before u use the silicone rubber, you must put some strong glue inside the hollow cone! You only need a little bit, and after that you put the hollow cone on the 25mm tweeter (see my picture) You have the best results with a HiFi titanium dome tweeter (neodym and ferrofluid) 120 watt (rms). Let it dry, and then start pouring the liquid rubber. We can start with the rubber in a few days, because the shop is closed till 4 januari.....But now i've another question: That good friend of mine, who is reparing my cutterhead is searching for a preamplifier without power amplifier (with Reverse RIAA, mono switching among 300--500Hz, possibly with compressor / limiter function) He know's about the Caruso preamp, but he is looking for a complete system. Is there a factory, who makes this preamplifier? Thank you all for reading, and have a good weekend! Marc

Marc, .. the Caruso preamplifier (you need 2 for stereo!) You get at vinylike.de (Flo) .. in Impresum is the number! get the v1.1 Caruso preamps.marct wrote:But now i've another question: That good friend of mine, who is reparing my cutterhead is searching for a preamplifier without power amplifier (with Reverse RIAA, mono switching among 300--500Hz, possibly with compressor / limiter function) He know's about the Caruso preamp, but he is looking for a complete system. If you have assembled these viewing categories, ask there to here or contact times to Todd Deep Groove Mastering (opcode 66) He has experience and builds you the complete parts together. Just ask me, .. Todd is quite peaceful .. smile

As I said, try it just once there ..
