Who can help me with my VR T560 cutterhead?

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Great work sakuszi! It sounds very well. Please, can you open a specific thread to explain how you achieved that awesome result, also posting photos of you lathe and cutterhead?
I'm very curious!

Thanks.

Andrea :)

Hello, will you head, it is not no secret.
I hear your recordings gentlemen, I will explain to you the details of the construction of the head and tell you what can work badly, certainly will counsel you, but without recording anything I can not say I do not know what to say, each head is different, the factory also are different constructions. I need to hear your recordings Regards

Hi Marc!
I'd like to say thanks for the cutter head autopsy, it's a really useful tread, thank you, again! :)

Can you help, or any other vinylrecorder user about something?
Any idea about the connection of the feeder motor the feedscrew and the crank at the left side? Thats not a gearboxed motor because you make the lead in and out groove with the handle/crank...
Maybe somebody have information about the motor or the mechanism?

Thanks for the answer, i'd like to improve my overhead mechanism a little :)

here's my head, a few elements to be modified, but it is the details.
1 WEIGHT about 1kg
Speakers 1000 Watt [as it was written on the package], coil diameter 25 mm, thickness of wire on the coils of 0.25 mm, ferrite magnets
Height of more than 100 mm! , Copper wire 2 mm cable
I used American audio amplifier 3000 Watt [power amplifier is very warm after 5 minutes] Graphic EQ capacitor 33 micro farads on two channels.
More I can not say I have some technical information for themselves
The knife is a brass holder diameter 8 mm, length 20 mm, the blade is anchored and the screw nut.
Head design is very stable and rigid, the effects will be [so I hope]
Tomorrow video recordings

hi... :D
I finally get the tweeter. (CARPARTS T-dome tweeter)
Have these t560 cutting head rebuilt and what can I say .. awesome!
Frequensresponse very good!
Cut to +12 dB loud and clear! Good bass crisp highs!
I am happy!

Make more tests and will then post here along with the frequency images.

Stay Stuned ...

Scotty 8)

:!: :!:
small note:
The dome tweeter I had to take part, apart, as they were partially pasted imbalance in the housing.
Had these then correctly centered stick.
Otherwise, the tweeters are very, very good.!
