I’m really happy of my TKV stéréo
Cutting head.
It cut’s high quality sound.
Now it’s a question of reduce the step motor’s
Noise a bit and get more experiences..

Does really good work on the model I got from
He’s cutting heads series.
He send me the filter eq’s parameters
That I use with fab filter.
This frequencies filter works perfectly
With the head.
I had a SSL eq in first in the chain
To make some fine tuning cause I don’t
Want to change the parameters in Konstantin
Eq filter he gave me.
So In the SSL eq I can drive all the lows to mono and correcting the mid sides and high
Frequencies.
Depending of the audio master I’m using
To cut after.

And about the power
my audio source is of coarse digital.
All my music got process in real analog equipment at my studio but got no choice to send it back to digital after. So my audio send out from
My TASCAM US 20/20 interface the software I use With Fab filter and SSL eq is Harrison mix bus32 c.So all this audio source goes in my
Pyramid 800 Watt /8 ohms amplifier.It got
2 big VU meters so it’s handful to balance
The power and L AND R with a tone signal.
Last time Konstantin made the maintenance on my cutting head (TKV)he had me some fuses
Sockets really handful and it serves to protect
The head.so I hook up the wires on the speakers input sockets.right now I’m using
250 v 500 Ma fast blow fuses.
I can cut between -10 dB RMS and -3dB top
Peak.
The loudest cut I made have a top peak
Around -3dB in my loudness program meter.
For the power volume I prefer going
Slow and step by step trying to increase
The power to cut louder.
But of course less noise you get from the
Mechanical parts and the stylus right
Angle and adjustment , heating….
Better is the sound and you can crank the
Playback louder after on your sound system
And get less acoustic feedback,like low
Frequencies hum ..
