Presto leadscrew pin removal

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Has anyone removed this pin? If so, how is it fixed?

no don't remove , or why remove . The clutch has a pressed gear in side . It brass and it you split it while taking it apart , Is not fixable. Maybe jb weld but its not good. What is wrong with the pin?
If it wont move , free it with carb cleaner or paint thinner . All metal parts wont hurt it. But avoid taking it apart

I agree with Al.

The pin will just come out with pliers (it happens to the clutch and crank pin accidentally fairly often). But why would you intentionally want to do it?
