It is made of titanium for German knives,
I thought over this week as you do with this material [titanium, titanium can be soldered tin]. I've been doing this handle on the knife 10 minutes.

Hey, ..Thelurker wrote:Good thread! I also experienced this exact same problem earlier last year....Souri head blew on one side for no reason, then while trying to troubleshoot the other side went to 1ohm!
Are the original Souri tweeters 4ohm?
Hey Scott! Can upload a high quality recording or video of a cut from the redcar tweeters?
Yes Souris are exactly 4 ohms!
Redcar also 4 ohms and at the back (just like Souri), the m4 thread mount! )
but you must be careful!
Look before the Tweeter on how they are glued to the housing !!!
Possibly, out and re-glue!
Ordered you best several, so you can assisst between them!
(If you sticking too much makes processing!)
If you glued the cone, be careful, take care that nothing gets on the rubber mount of Mebran !!!
Ps: I'll make you some Records-Wav / video ready to show how the head works with the tweeters and how the quality is, ..'m just a little bit at the moment struck by cold and fever
regards Scotty

How are the high frequencies? It seems like that screw you have holding the stylus would add a bit of mass

Thanks Aaron, am .. as I said a little ill (virus!), it's even better to reproduce this head. will all make the day when I am healthy again! then will test other tweeters and compare which ones are good and which bad! as I said, the next day I'll take that in attack and inform you.aaron wrote:Very awesome, inspiring work!

Just to clarify, the original Souri teeeters have a silver titanium dome and these redcar ones have silk done??is the dome soft or hard?
Also when you say to order several, are the domes glued bad from factory? We have to remove and reinstall dome?
Did you have an original Souri head or just built one from this thread?

Re: Who can help me with my VR T560 cutterhead?
yes .. these tweeter Not original souri-tweeter! the original tweeter have a titanium membrane! I have this tweeter chosen because they have a good value! which is membrane soft and needs of the cone with 2K overlglue (only the membrane, not the rubber suspension) ...but be careful! then the cone carefully stick! then 2k form imprint rubber emphasize the cone. that was all! the head I built ... have no head original souri. I have rebuild the head by Markct postings.
So,..thats all for tonight...see ya tomorrow...
Best regards Scotty
