I know this is an old thread, but did you find the Dayton Dats useful and if so in what way?
Happy to learn something new.

Hi Simon,

I’m a big fan of the DATs tester. It’s been great to ensure all the coils are wound to the same impedance. It’s also useful to make sure that all the spring tensions are consistent, and does a good job highlighting if the pressure between the three springs are equal.

There is an inbuilt comparison mode too, which can overlay a known good head over whatever head you are testing.

I need to post an updated on these cutting heads. But life is getting away on me
