Making styli again.

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Mack Stevens approached me to make him 10 new tungsten carbide cutting styli.

1.5mm x 19mm (1/16" x 3/4")

I have 8 left over from the batch of 20 I made.

Some are "super-finished" and some normal.

The "super-finished" styli have just the very tips polished using a 1200 grit wheel.

I have no proof (as yet) that this will be better but you have to think that smoother is better.

If anyone would like to try either, drop me a line at wilson@wilsonlogan.com.

£12 ($16) each with P&P at cost.

Cheers,

Wilson.
