testing Jerry's steel cone styli

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Triangles intended for cutting also work well when used for embossing if mounted front side back. As I said in other thread, no need to tilt the head.
Quiet (when unnmodulated) gooves and good tracking.Nice and cheap.
Tried in a Rek o kut. Presto and Audax heads. lexan policarbonate, no heat.

Hi!

What kind of shank those this steel stylus have? I wonder if I can use them in the Angulo machine. Currently I'm running with Adamant NSH-2S, but I'm yet to get practice at embossing, and I'm deteriorating the sapphire very fast by mishandling it!

Also, how do you clean, if you clean at all, the lighter fluid once the record is made?

Kind regards

Miguel
