new stylus / edison 1878 tinfoil phonograph

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

thanks for that great video!

is there a drawing for the stylus you made?

i would love to pimp my yakult cutter... can not affort an 1878 thinfoil( and i guess they are kind of super rare in europe)
so i made a 2014 yakult phonopgraph out of the dumpster...

but your video motivates me really to machine a heavy brass mandril on my 1950 schaublin lathe..hehe

2nd question: which brand of the extra heavy duty aluminum foil?
totally impressed that this works so well into aluminum foil.
