I'm wondering if its possible to engrave (not cut) with a VR?
What's on my mind - reversing diamond (180 degree) and do a mono-audio maybe?

WHY!
The. VR is a capable setup with Stylus & blanks available from MyShank at a reasonable cost,
Unlikely you get anything near the possible quality if you go down the Embossing path
