It's true we were moved by it!
Here's another picture of me, in the studio, with Hans, Silvia and some others (forgot their names, sorry).
In order to create a rich timbre, we needed to manually handcrank each separate oscillator (called messgenerator at the time).
In the front you can see the first Siemens bakelite-cutter (no vinyls then), a test version

Note that some of this equipment is still in service (presumably cutting grime and industrial ) at a radio station in Grimeton Scandinavia (Callsign SAQ) where they have the truly massive sounding 200kW lathe of 17.5kHz at just over 2000RPM on the main rotor....
These days they only operate a few days a year, which has cut down on the frequency of releases.
