Jeez, as a retired so-called “professional” writer, it’s a tad embarrassing that I can’t seem to get the creative juices flowing on this one. But mostly, that’s just because I’m enticed by the offer of a free egg cream in NYC - I haven’t had a decent egg cream since I left the Village in the mid-‘80s!

The one thing that does jump out of my head is another Esquire-style name, for better or worse:

“For The Record...”

Yeah, it’s as cheesy as trying to incorporate the word “Grounds” into the name of a coffee shop, but I do kinda like it anyway.

Out of the original proposed names, I'm a little surprised that "Pressing Matters" fares so poorly, but maybe that's because I just recently had to suffer through an excruciating day of jury duty, which also brings to mind, "A Matter Of Record" (a total groaner, I know.... )
