in roughly 40 minutes from now, I am going to take the site down for (hopefully only) a few minutes, to upgrade the software as a security measure. Hopefully no biggie, and it will come right back up.

Hopefully a few minutes. Ha!
Truly terrifying, folks, upgrading software. And I discovered that our hosting site had done incomplete backups this month, and I had to scavenge the site's architecture from some older backups on my computer. And at the end of all that, the site wasn't actually updated.
Let me know if anything looks funny.
