My first 12" record

Hello friends! As I near my second year of cutting, I tried my hand at my first-ever 12" release. It's a "community album" of music by artists on my label, as well as friends and fans of the label. It accompanies a DIY music magazine I've been putting out for a few years called Hit the Decks.

After a few months of cutting--well, embossing--one disc at a time on my Presto 6D, I trained up my wife K on a ROK challenger, and then started piecing together a frankenROK out of pieces I've been acquiring over the past few months. Now that we have three lathes set up to run in sync, it finally felt like I had the time to try a 12", LOL! They're coming out much better than I expected, very little surface noise after the first minute or so, and no skips reported yet. What fun!

I've attached a picture of the record & mag, and well as a couple digital rips: one is first track of Side B, a song called Butterfly by Marie Baldys - since it is the first track, there is some surface noise for a minute or so. I've also included the song Keep the Line Open by Neon Silhouette, the second track, so you can hear a digital rip once the surface noise calms completely.

What are you all working on? Thank you again for sharing so much knowledge on this board, it's been invaluable while I work on the 3rd lathe, the first one I'm refurbishing myself!
