Everyone Its great to be here. Right now I have a Edison cylinder recorder and a Dictaphone 800 Series Visible Dictabelt recorder. I have a few questions.
First why are no new Disc record cutting machines being made?
Second I understand Gib at West-Tech is one of the only people that restores recordios is this true?
Third is there anyone that has for sale a working recordio presto or other "Low budget disc recorder." I have already given Gib a call and he has not answered my calls or e-mails.
It is nice to be here any questions on Dictaphone dictablet machines just ask will try the best to help!

Gib is indeed one of the few, and he seems to be trying to get out of the business. Leave him a couple messages, and he will probably call you back.
A recent user named masterscott1 was starting to do this sort of stuff. He stopped posting here around August, but try him, too. Hopefully he is lurking around.

masterscott1 is still around and checks his emails. He's been out for health issues but he just sent me an email letting me know he's back working again for now. Great guy and from my experiences with him, it's bar none.
