Hey there,

In 2012 i found DISCOPRESS
a smal company in germany Who provides 7" 10" & 12" record pressing mashines with build in hydraulics, coolers, extruder, heaters and Pumps. We use hot and cold thermal oil for the mould. Total weight is around 600kg for the whole setup (manual version) optional there will be a automation module available... We developed a mould who fits 7" 10" 12" standard toolex stampers called "multi mould" with a special media distribution pipe system inside.
the system is controled by an easy to use SPS

Also we build or pistons inhouse thought CNC turning and millimg...

cycle time is around 13 sec...

im here to talk with educated people about record manufacturing, technology tranfer and so one to put all the best from the 60s/80's like VPI/DFI and toolex mechanics and technology in to now... thanks in advance!
