Vinyl Recorder /T560 heating and noise

Hi all, been cutting away merrily on a VR for about 6 months and have mostly been getting good results.

The frustrating part is the constant issues that seemingly come from nowhere.

I had a near flawless transcription from source to vinyl going and then out of the blue I can't cut above about -3 (45 rpm) without a puffy kind of distortion mostly on the fringes of the stereo image. I can only think that perhaps one side of the cutterhead is damaged. I can't trace it to any particular source issues, I believe my system is calibrated properly, I am using a new cutter stylus with no noise or defect. My source has not changed, I have tried different program material and all sorts of things. Driving me crazy but the T560 can do that.....

Also, anyone use low level heating with a new stylus? Souri has told me NO heating with a new stylus but I find the cuts have less pops and crackles and I get a better cut without the nighmare of the lamps guessing game.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

If anyone read this and was interested - issue was with playback system. Somehow the calibration of the turntable went out of whack so after resetting it now it is good to go.
