Hi,
I understood some of the technical difference between these two ways of cutting & I heard about the differences for the final LP. Better high frequencies with DMM, better bass with lacquers...
I have few questions, if you don't mind:
- wich one of these two techniques is the "easiest"?
- are they record cutting lathe "specialised" in DMM, or can we use the machine for both (with different head)?
- is there any supplier of metal for this?
If you any point of view on DMM vs Lacquers?

Hello everyone,
I've heard that DMM machines are very rare, and actually almost impossible to find... So part of the answer is here.
I found a very interesting book, from the Audio Engineering Society, wich is an "Anthology of articles on disk recording". I start its lecture and found answers.
