Calling VR users - Help using this tool?

Hello all,

I have a VR, and I can't for the life of me remember the utilisation of this tool, see photo attached:

How exactly is it used in the calibration process? I vaguely recall from Souri's training day but my notes are blank on this except for a shitty drawing of the tool itself.

It's to sit the cutting head on (upside down), so you can change the stylus more easily.

Thank you for your response. That is helpful. It has no role in calibrating the cutterhead angle then?

No. it's for holding the head upside down under the microscope. For cutting head angle calibration use something rigid that you cut to the desired angle. Myshank sells some if you're not making your own.

Yes it's part of the bundle. A must have for the head as the tool for changing the stylus.

would anyone know exactly what the Souri's VR starter set contains?
