Well - I started a thread about that a few weeks ago and decided, not to buy this "system". Even before I didn't expect the system to work, I didn't expect the cutting head to be useful. All I wanted was some basis I could use to build upon. The situation is difficult from my perspective: While there are plenty of people working on different cutter head designs, nobody really works on a new lathe design. We're stuck with stuff that is either 60 years old or too expensive. Though it must seem to be a trivial task for some of you, not everybody (me included) is able or willing to build a working overhead. This is why I thought about the Polinska clone. Not to have a cheapo Neumann - but to have a platform that might be viable as something one could use to built a lathe. In the end I was too chicken to buy it.
