Many of our site users use his product, T560; some -- several? -- have used it professionally for years. As with any system, there are pros and cons to it, and you can search the site for ongoing discussions about it. It involves an investment in equipment, an investment in training, and proprietary blanks. Those who choose to use it have decided from the available data that it's a good match with their needs.

So, now, suddenly, we have this.

Guys ... these images are of a design of a user Tarcisio Giustino. Tarcisio is my friend and has been working in this cutting head a few months. Even sent me pictures of finished parts made of metal. Raul (Angulo) is using someone else's project to promote.

Well, I'm just going to point out a technical observation about the video. Bryan constructed does in fact represent the motion of the the stylus when given left channel or right channel or left and right channel simultaneously. Bryan's rig shows the lateral and vertical motion of the stylus.

However, mechanically speaking, it is not a proper representation of the actual physics involved to make this happen in a 45/45 torque tube style stereo arrangement. I say this confidently and without equivocation. The rig has hinges where the push rods meet the torque tube. Also it has hinges where the push rods meet the servo. Yeah, that alone makes this only a demonstration of the movement of the stylus and not a demonstration of the true mechanics of the torque tube system. FYI. This will all be detailed in my ebook on cutterhead theory and practice. And, I'm thinking Angulo will probably want to read it once published.

In the meantime, you can also watch this video of the motion of the stylus. More to come soon.
