After cutting on my Scully Westrex system for around 8 years its time to sell. I bought the machine in Brooklyn circa 2005. Let's just say in the beginning it had a lot of issues. Since 2005 a lot of modifications have been made. 2006 Vinylium's Pitch 98 system was installed and calibrated, old manual Scully pitch gutted. Haven't had a skip since! In 2007 I moved my lathe to Berlin from NYC where I currently operate. In 2010 I had the original motor rebuilt. More recently in 2012 I had the entire 1700 series amplifier re-capped, new potentiometers and all new solder points secured by engineer Jvo Studer.
The entire package includes:
-Scully core chassis :: Carriage, Feed screw, Nikon microscope etc + 2x original panels (one is missing
)-1700 Series Amp (fully re-capped)(runs on 220v at the moment, can be converted)
-1x 3D IIa cutter head (working condition per Len Horowitz @ HRS)
