Hello my friends,
you have been so gentle with my quest for a perfect lathe.
So I have another question, If you please can help a Brazilian cutter.
I've been searching for the oils for mu Neumann lathe.
I did not find the ones in the manual I have. Not on ebay, not here in Brasil.
Can somebody help me with this information ?
I do not know where to find them.

Thank you very much again.

What parts of the lathe need oiling?

Don't use any oils that contain waxes or detergents. They will usually not say on the bottle if they do or not. Don't use an oil if unsure what is in it.

For the turntable bearing; detergent free, non synthetic engine oil like used in the turntables can be used. 5W30 should do it.
