For sale - Stereo cutting console designed by Eric Porterfield and built by CBS Engineering.
This console was used at Columbia Recording Studios NYC with CBS Discomputer equipped Scully lathes throughout the 1970s and 80s.
Unit has 3 stereo signal paths;
Program -
2 passive inductive HP / LP filters - 12dB / octave - 15, 12, 10, 8kHz / 50, 80, 160 Hz
1/2 dB stepped stereo level control (+5 to -5dB)
API stereo linear fader
2 modified Melcor AML27 line amps with 0dB, -5dB , and -10dB gain settings.
Variable pitch -
1/2 dB stepped stereo level control (+5 to -5dB)
Stereo / mono sum
Variable insertion of 60 Hz to either L or L+R to deliberately increase pitch and depth when there is out of polarity LF program
2 modified Melcor AML27 line amps with 0dB, -5dB , and -10dB gain settings
2 Weston 3.5" VU meters - OVU selectable between +4, +6, +8 dBu, or off
Monitor -

Includes 7U Bud rack chassis 22" wide x 15" tall x 15" deep.
