I saw this modification on Ebay USA in the last year. I think that is the CBS Diskomputer in the fron of the panel. If you look at the cabinet, this was made from a VMS 66 which doesn't really matter as the VMS66 and VMS70 both use the AM66 lathe. In any case, this is neither a VMS66 nor a VMS70. With a modification like this it doesn't matter which lathe it is. It looks like a mess and with an opening bid of 1.2 million yen with 18 hours to go it doesn;t look like its going anywhere anytime soon.
The seller has had it for ten years and was planning to make the ultimate turntable. Good luck to him.
