i don't have a feedback head but i use a type-c mono magnetic head and i love it. nice warm sounds and crispy highs. i think with grampian you can't lose - everyone who i've ever talked to about them loved them.

best of luck w/the search! they pop up on ebay from time to time - usually fetching at least $500 USD and that's the lowest i've seen em go for.
