Nice auction with this one. Three-speed. What looks to be multiple feed screws. Tested and working. Comes with extra styli, blanks and tubes!

Sites like Lathe Trolls are probably a bit to blame for the upsurge in demand for Presto equipment. When you sing the praises of a machine as much as I've seen done here there should be little surprise when one in great condition - with all the bells & whistles - goes for a good chunk.

Then again, I just read a post on another site that talked about finding a working K10 at a flea market for $15 :shock:

(I still think the bidders on that Y system were all insane, though!)

Mind-blowing. But whomever that was certainly got as good a starter kit as you could ask for!

I'm intrigued by how one bidder slowly crept up the price by $1000 over the course of a half-hour - and still didn't come close to the previous top bid.
