A little grody, but it seems everything is there, including the dashpot. And... wiper blades?

I'm guessing they're just a strip of heavy felt by the looks of it, right?

I don't know. I'd love to have one but I've never managed to snag one on Ebay. It can't be too complicated of a device.

Looks like it's my turn to sell some stuff!

You outbid me by $10! Oh well... I didn't actually need one that bad. It's amazing how soft the market is for Prestos. I'll take a 6N over any Rek-O-Kut anyday.

Well, rest assured you won't have me for competition the next time one comes up!

It'll be interesting to see what all the head needs rebuilt once it gets here. I'm hoping it can't be too hard to find/construct a replacement coil.

Ill bet its missing the adjustment screws, which will make the thing pretty worthless. The last head i had Gib rewind was missing the screws and it cost me as much to have it fixed as it would have to just buy a fully functional one from him outright.

I was the second highet bidder on The last two 6ns that came up... No telllin how cheap they would have gone for if i wasnt in the fight.

Well, at least I'll have my 5-C head ready to go. Just got word from Gib that he's finished with it.

Progress, in small amounts.

What a stroke of luck - I reassembled the head and discovered there is nothing missing! The bobbins for the coils are cracked but otherwise this is a complete 1-D. :D
