Really? $150 for 15?? and the auction isn't even over yet. I've never had even decent luck with steel needles. No thanks...

Seems like steels are good only for lo-fi 78 cuts in old lacquer and cardboard base plates for home recorders as Wilcox, Meissner etc. I am currently using steel needles in a 1912 Acoustic Pathe Lathe but never got good results with them on mid/hi fi machines in 33/45. Auction seems overpriced, they r supposed to be cheap.
