Rare matched pair (s/n 231, 240) of Western Electric Export Corp (Westrex) RA- 1573-A preamps, complete with just-as-rare documentation: "Technical Information Bulletin, Operating and Maintenance Instructions" Issue #1 12-22-55; includes complete schematic and details on two different plug-and-play ways to configure the amps. Purchased in 1977 from Capitol Records; used in their New York studio. Includes provenance. These sell for $3300 in Japan. Asking $1700 or make offer.
